Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Azril (the Discord bot and companion website, the “Service”) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what is needed to run the game.

1. Information we collect

  • Discord account identifiers — your Discord user ID, username/display name, and (when you log into the website) your avatar. These are provided by Discord using the identify OAuth scope only. We do not request your email, message contents, or server list through login.
  • Game data you create — cards you own, currencies and stats, wishlists, tags, albums, clan membership, profile customization, and command activity needed to run the game.
  • Server context — the server/channel ID where a command is used, so features like drops and per-server settings work.
  • Website session — a secure, signed cookie that keeps you logged in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

2. How we use your information

  • To operate the game: process commands, store your collection, and render cards and profiles;
  • To display your profile, collection, and stats on the website when you log in;
  • To maintain leaderboards and public galleries (subject to your privacy settings below);
  • To prevent abuse, cheating, and to enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Your privacy controls

You control what other players can see. Using the /privacy command in Discord, you can make each of the following public or private: your collection, your wishlist, your user info, and your albums. When set to private, that information is hidden from other users on both Discord and the website (you can always see your own).

4. How your information is shared

We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. Game data is stored on the server that runs Azril. Public information (such as your username and, unless set private, your collection or leaderboard standing) may be visible to other players through the bot and website. Logging in goes through Discord’s own OAuth system, which is governed by Discord’s Privacy Policy.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep your game data for as long as you use Azril. You may request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us (see below) or through the official support server. Note that removing the bot from a server does not automatically delete your personal game data; submit a deletion request to have it erased.

6. Children’s privacy

Azril is not intended for anyone below Discord’s minimum age requirement for their country. We do not knowingly collect data from users under that age. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will remove it.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Privileged website features are protected behind authentication.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.

9. Contact

For privacy questions or data-deletion requests, contact the developer at [email protected] or through the official Azril support server.
